New Unknown Music Thursday Blog My Enemyz Blood And Now Welcome…Pain

In this Unknown Music Thursday blog, we are going to get into a new and unknown band, which is My Enemyz Blood. This is their first record and it is called “And Now Welcome…Pain.” There is not much history on this because it is a young and upcoming band. This band was formed in the summer of 2012. This record, which is their first one, was release this year. Their second guitar, who is Rudy, joined in June the same year. They mix a few different styles of Metal. They talk about it on their Bio on ReverbNation.com which is Groove Metal and Thrash Metal. I cannot see Lamb Of God and Zakk Wylde sound. I hear more Pantera type of style with heavier feel that we received in the 2000’s. Let us get into the music.

I love the sampling and the heavy guitar with some solid drumming at the beginning of the song. The singer is classic in your face extreme metal vocals. He does more singing than the old school guys. He is more like Shadowfalls and Pantera. I love his singing and the lyrics. The guitar playing is heavy and solid. The drumming and bass are a perfect support to this band. I love the guitar break and into a nice solo towards the end of the song. This is a great opening track. I love the ending of this song.

Sick

I love the guitar work at the beginning. I love the singer’s singing at the start of the song. It is perfect for the song. I love the lyrics on this song. There is some solid drumming and bass playing on it. I love the guitar playing. Damn that is one awesome drum beat with some sick playing on guitar. I love the guitar solo towards the middle of the song. I love the in the face that this song gives the listener.

Eternal Hell

I love the start of this song with a nice church bells. This reminds me a classic Slayer song called “Rain Of Blood” with that guitar riff. I love screaming from the singer and the singing. There is some solid lyrics and drumming with support from the bass player. The guitar playing has a nice grove to it. I love the guitar breaks between the singing. There are parts of this song reminds me of old school Pantera. I love the ending.

Face Your Fears

I love the sampling of the guitar and drumming. It just snaps forward with the lead singer right in your face. I love the pace of this song. He has written some nice lyrics. He is the modern-day Phil Anselmo of Pantera. There is some solid music from the bass, guitar and drums. My Enemyz Blood did a great job writing some killer music on this song. I love the guitar work. Holy shit! I do not say that too much about guitar players work since I am a bass player. I love the ending of this song.

Oblivious

I love the guitars, bass and drumming right in your face at the beginning of “Oblivious.” I love the classic Megadeth break and the guitar playing and right into the main riff with the singer singing over the top. I am not much a fan of this singing I have to say he has put his twisted on it that I like. There is some over the top guitar playing on this song. I will have to say these two guitar players have taken this band’s music to the next level.

Redacted

I love the screaming and drumming to guitar work. I love how they have two guitar players that give a solid and thick sound to all their songs. I love his singing but I am having a hard time understanding what he is singing. I love the sample from the news and there is a killer bass playing. This band needs to bring him out more often. I love the build up to the end of the song.

Ultimate Revenge

I love the drumming at the beginning of the song. There is a killer riff on the guitars. I love the guitar break before the singer comes into the song. There is some solid singing from the singer. I love the lyrics. They wrote some awesome music on this song. I love the music towards the end of the song. They did a great job on the back up vocals and they are well placed.

When I Leave Here

I love the fade into the song. I love the music and the pace of this song. I love drumming and the bass playing. There is some sick guitar riffs on this song. I love the rhythm on the singing and the melody from him. I love the lyrics he is singing on “When I Leave Here.” This is a nice driving song from start to finish. I love the guitar break to a nice guitar solo towards the end of the song.

Flowz Like Blood

I love the drumming and guitar playing on this song. The bass playing is pretty solid and the singer seems like he is loss on this song. I am not fan of the melody and rhythm of his singing that is what I mean loss. I love the music on this song. Singer has written some solid lyrics. I love the well placed back up vocals. I love the guitar break between the singing. There is some nice time changes on this song. There is sick guitar solo towards the end of the song. I love how they ended that song and the record.

In closing, I have to say this is a pretty solid record from start to finish. The drummer and the guitar playing made this record the way it is from start to finish. I love the pace of all the songs. They are in your face and they will not let up. They are killing your ass from the start of the record to the end. I am not a fan of this kind of singing but the singer is pretty good. They have master the art of writing some nice driving songs. My Enemyz Blood is great at starting out all their songs. There are not many bands that can get that right. This band has found a way to do a good job on that part of song writing. The only knock I have towards this band. There is really no ending to any of their songs. They just stop. There is nothing wrong with that but the record sounds like one big song. I know there is not what they are trying to get at because they are not like Mastodon or Rush. Overall, this is a band is growing into their selves. I believe adding the second guitar player and another mind to this mix. I believe they will solve problems and come out with new ideas. I pretty excited to see how this band turns out in the future. I am hoping to see and meet these guys in person one day. It was an honor to listen and write to this review. New Beer Blog Pipeworks Brewing Ninja Vs. Unicorn Double IPA

We are going to get into the third beer that will be review on this beer blog from Pipeworks Brewing. The beer is their Ninja Vs. Unicorn Double India Pale Ale. If you read my beer blog post two days ago, you know the history of this brewery. If you have not, please, read that beer blog post to get know this brewery. Let us get into the beer.

It had a cloudy copper color with a constant white head on the beer. The smell is piney to earthy notes. The taste of this medium to full body beer is light carbonation piney notes to it. It is pretty drinkable Double India Pale Ale.

Ending, this is a great beer. I love the hops they use in this beer. It is pretty well-balanced for being a double India Pale Ale. There is a nice malty backbone but I kind feel it should be stronger. I can live with it. I have to say for a beer that is in 22oz bottle. It is well worth the price. I have always felt beers in 22oz bottles are not worth the price. To me, this one lives up to the price. I recommend you trying this brew. Go get some! Drink it! Enjoy it! Metal it! \m/

New Beer Blog Pipeworks Brewing Chai Dog Imperial Milk Stout

In this beer blog, we are going to get into a second brew reviewed on this blog by Pipeworks Brewing. The brew I am talking about is their Chai Dog. If you read my earlier beer blog, you are up to speed on the history of this young and upcoming brewery. If you have not, please, read the blog post from yesterday to get up to speed. Let us get into the brewery.

It has a jet black color with a semi tan head on the beer. The smell is a heavy chai spices. The taste is extremely creamy with heavy chai spices. The aftertaste has a heavy chai spices that last for a long time. It is not drinkable unless you are a chai tea coffee drinker.

In closing, I am not a fan of this brew and it was hard to put it down. I passed it to a friend because I could not finish it. New Beer Blog Pipeworks Brewing Raspberry Truffle Abduction

In this beer blog, we are going to get into a brewery I have been wanting to try in a while. I am talking about Pipeworks Brewing and the beer is their Raspberry Truffle Abduction. Pipeworks Brewing was founded in 2012 in Chicago, IL by Beejay Oslon and Gerrit Lewis. The brewery is located around the Bucktown area of Chicago. They brew several different beers and bottle them in 22oz bottles to 750ML. There is not much history on this brewery because it is young and upcoming brewery. Let us get into the beer.

It has a jet black color with a constant tan head on the beer. The smell is heavy raspberry to it. The taste of this light to medium body beer is heavy dry chocolate cover raspberry. I can barely taste any of the stout. It is really drinkable.

It is a shame human, that we must wipe from your memory the rich chocolate delight that is Raspberry Truffle Adduction. Its soft raspberry flavor blossoming like frivolous human emotion, galactic absconce at the long-fingered hands of we cosmic plumbers.

In closing, I was pretty impressed with this beer. The only thing I would change, however, I do not think the brewery can cut down on how much raspberries they use in the beer. There is light taste to this stout but the raspberry over took the stout. The stout comes across as chocolate cover raspberry. Overall, this is a really good beer. New Music Monday Blog Laura Wilde Sold My Soul

In this Music Monday Blog, we are going to get a music from a young lady, who is Laura Wilde. This is her first record which is Sold My Soul. She finally made her first appearance in the United States. I had the honor of meeting her after a killer show outside of Detroit. There is not much history on this up and coming artist. She comes from the land down under which is Australia. She loves Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Slash, and many more. She will be heading back into the studio to work with legendary bass player and my hero Geezer Bulter from Black Sabbath. Being a Bass Player and lyric writer, Mr. Bulter is the best in the world. She will be in good hands. Let us get into the music.

Intro

The first track is short and to the point. It is sounds of motorcycles.

All Alone

“All Alone” starts out with a nice solid drum beat with a nice great guitar riff. I really enjoyed the singing from Laura with some great lyrics. Her singing reminds me of Lita Ford, lead singers from Otep and Flyleaf. This is a pretty solid track for being the real opening track of the record.

Sold My Soul

“Sold My Soul” is one of the first singles off this record and one of two music videos recorded off “Sold My Soul.” I love the start from the guitar and the simple drum beat and bass line at the beginning and also throughout the song. This is a pretty solid song from start to finish. It has an awesome guitar and great drumming beat. I love the lyrics and some nice singing from Laura. This is a great driving song like the opening song. I love the pace of this song and the record so far.

Freeek!

I love the bass and drum action at the beginning of the song. She reminds me so much of Lita Ford from the singing and her song writing to this point of her record. There is some awesome music and well written lyrics. I love the guitar break towards the middle of the song. Laura Wilde is a great singer and I believe she does not need back up singers.

Irate

I love the effect of the heavy overdrive on her guitar. I love the lyrics and she is singing pretty good on this song. The organ playing is a perfect fit on this song. She is the queen of driving songs. They have a nice flow and great pace. This is a song that will give me a few speed tickets. I love the ending of the song.

Back Seat

Here is a classic hard rock guitar riff at the beginning of the song. I love the drop off and the groove from the music while she is singing over the top of it. I am really not a fan of the lyrics and her singing but it works and fits for the song. I might not like it that does not mean it is bad. I might have to listen to this song a few more times for it to grow on me. It might not happen. It is a pretty solid ending to “Back Seat.”

For You

I love the music at the beginning of the song. There is some solid lyrics and her singing. There is some good music here and it is pretty solid. I know I say she does not need a singer but it fits on this song. She might be an above average singer but it is her doing the back up singing. I love the back up vocals. This is a great song. This should be the next single off this record. I love the guitar break towards the end of the song. I love the ending of the song.

Anything Goes

I love rhythm and the pace of the music. She is singing great and has some great lyrics on “Anything Goes.” I love the guitar break to the guitar solo at the middle of the song. The guitar solo is not forced like most guitar solos. I have noticed one thing throughout this record that the music she wrote some melody to blend nicely with it along with her voice. I love the ending of this song.

Classical Guitar Star

I love the guitar work and it should be with any song that has “Classic Guitar” or “Rock Star” in the title. I am really enjoying her singing and it is great. I believe this song is the best singing performance from Laura Wilde on this record. I will be honest. I am not a fan of the lyrics but she put some thought, feeling, and a theme behind them on “Classic Guitar Star.” I love the guitar solo towards the end of the song. There is some great effects on her guitar. This band has done a great job on the music on this song.

Nothing Back

I love the pick up of back half of the record and the pace on this song on “Nothing Back.” There is some nice guitar, drums, and bass work on this song. There is some awesome music. This song is in your face which is perfected. I am enjoying the singing and the lyric writing that she has put forth.

Love Buyer

There is a nice heavy guitar with a nice solo over the time at the beginning of the song. I love the singing and nice lyrics. She is singing really well on this song. There is a nice guitar break towards the middle of the song. The music is great and there is nice playing from the drummer and the bass player. There is a nice fade out ending to this song.

Angel

I love the bass line with some great singing at the beginning of the song. I love the lyrics and the singing from Laura. I like how she put some focus on the bassist and the drummer on this song. There is a nice guitar solo towards the end of the song. I love the fade out at the end of the song.

The end, this is some great music on her first record. Laura Wilde is an upcoming artist with a promising future in hard rock and metal world. She is a solid guitar player with a thought of where to take her music. She brings life back to girls rocking in the music scene. She is a lady you do not want to mess with but she is very sweet when she needs to be in her music. I had the honor to watch her play outside of Detroit. I have to say I was pretty impressive. She put on a hell of show. I have to say two things. I highly recommend you checking her out and move over Lita Ford. Laura Wilde is here to rock us just like Lita. It would be kind neat if Laura and Lita get together and write some music. I am looking forward to her new music in the next year. New Beer Blog Moonlight Brewery Death And Taxes

In this beer blog, we are going to get into a beer that I found while out in San Francisco. The brewery is called Moonlight Brewery from Santa Rosa, California. The brewery was started by Brian Hunt in 1992. Death And Taxes is their flagship beer. They do not package any of their beer. They only sell their beers in kegs in the northern part of California. Let us get into the beer.

It has a black color with a semi tan head on the beer. The smell is roasted malts to coco notes. The taste is smoked with coffee to slight chocolate notes. The aftertaste is a dry crisp coco to it. It is a pretty drinkable beer.

In closing, I found this beer at a bar, which is Toronado Bar, that my work took us to for a few beers. I did not want anything heavy. I wanted something with flavor but yet a light in body. I will say this beer covered all those things that I was looking for in a beer. This has some nice notes but yet pretty drinkable. New Unknown Music Thursday Blog La Chinga La Chinga

In this Unknown Music Thursday Blog, we are going to get into a band from Vancouver, Canada. La Chinga released their debut self-titled record. The sound of the band is a throw back to the 1970’s classic hard rock. They mixed some blues, folk, and rock. They have elements from the pioneers of that era like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and MC5 to name a few bands. There is not much information on this new band. Let us get into the music.

Track List:

Early Grave

“Early Grave” starts out with a driving classic hard rock guitar riff. I love the singing. It reminds me of Deep Purple like Mark III to IV area with David Coverdale fronting the band with Glen Hughs. La Chinga has brought the 1970’s back through their music and lyrics. There is some nice lyrics and music. There is a nice guitar solo towards the middle part of the song. I love the drumming and bass work on this song. There is a strong backbone in this music and band. This is a great opening track.

Snake Eyes

The second song pretty much has the same start and sound like the opening track. I love the grove of this song and the feeling from the singing. Drummer is pound the hell out of his kit and gives a nice strong sound to the song. I love the lyrics and the music so far on this song. There is some nice guitar work towards the middle of the song that turns into a nice guitar solo. I love the build up to the end of the song.

The Wheel

I love the grove of the start of this song. There is some nice bass work on the song at the beginning. I love the pace and in the packet of this song. “The Wheel” sounds like something that early Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, or Deep Purple would have written. The singer fits what this band is doing. His voice is perfect for this music and the lyrics that he has written for it.

Catty!

I love the drumming at the beginning. It sound very Led Zeppelin sounding. The guitar sounds like a bright Black Sabbath sounding. There is some nice lyrics on this song. The drummer is so far making this record along with his partner in crime the bassist. I will say the rhythm selection of this band makes this band a solid one. This makes the guitar player and singer sound better without even trying and their job easier. There is a nice solid guitar solo towards the middle.

Loose My Mind

“Loose My Mind” has some nice trip out music at the beginning. The guitar playing is off the charts along with some solid drumming and bass playing. I love the lyrics but I do not like the singing on this song at the beginning of the song. In the later part of the song, it kind of gets a little better. I love the ending of this song.

Boogie Children

The beginning of this song sounds like a 1970’s porn music. I am sorry. I can not really take this song that serious. There is some solid bass playing and drumming in the background. It has a nice build up. After the 1970’s porn music, there is some great music. I love the bass playing on this song. I am not really a fan of the lyrics.

Country Mile

I love the beginning of “Country Mile.” It has a southern rock music sound to it. I really love the singer singing and the lyrics. I love the pace and grove to the song. There is a nice well placed guitar solo towards the middle of the song. I love the pick up on the song after the guitar solo. It just feel right to the theme of the song and goes right back to the main the riff. Nice touch!

La Chinga

The name of the band the title of this record has a nice pace to it. I love the bass and drum playing on this song. This is a straight ahead in your face song. I love the guitar solo towards the middle of this song. I just feel like it should be a little faster but it is still a pretty good solo. It is one of his longest one on this record so far. I love the ending with the music and the lead singer screaming.

Freedom

“Freedom” has a nice pace to it. I love the lyrics and the guitar work on this song. I just feel like the drumming is a little too strong and hard for this song. There is a nice driving pace to this song. La Chinga did a great job on the music. This is one of their best songs off this record. I love the ending to the song.

Universe

I love the guitar work at the beginning of the song. The drums and bass echo a nice guitar riff for the main part of the song. This band has found the fountain of all the driving songs. There is some nice lyrics and singer sounds great. I love the guitar work towards the end of the song. This is great end to a great record from a good up and coming band.

In closing, this band has brought everything that was good about the 1970’s hard rock all in their first record to the public. They did not do a lazy job on it. They pulled elements from the classic 1970’s bands from Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, MC5, etc. The drummer and bass player are the story on this record. They made this record from good to great. This band has a solid backbone with a very talented guitar player. There is no holes in their games or swing. This band reminds me of ZZ Top and Rush. I am not saying they sound like either band but all their players are solid and talented. There is not weak link on this band. This band gives fans of the classic rock a nice wrap of some great 1970’s music. I highly recommend this band’s music if you love 1970’s hard rock or some great rock music. Go get some! Drink it! New Beer Blog Brooklyn Oktoberfest

In this beer blog, we are going to get into another seasonal from Brooklyn and it is their Oktoberfest. if you read my earlier beer blog posts about this brewery, you know the history of this brewery. If you have not read those beer blog posts, please, read those beer blog posts about this brewery. Let us get into beer.

It has a clear dark copper to amber color with a white head on this fall lager. The smell is a slight malty to hints of caramel. The taste is a sweet heavy caramel notes with a dry caramel aftertaste. This beer style leans has a drinkable beer.

Closing, I will be the first to say that I am not a real big fan of this brewery. There is not too many brews that they make that I enjoy. This brew gives me hope from this brewery. I had it in the past and I thought it was average. I know this brewery does not really change their recipe each year. I do not know what it is but this year’s version is pretty good. New Beer Blog Arbor Brewing Mackinac Island Fudge Stout

In this beer blog, we are going to get into another beer from Arbor Brewing Company. The beer is one of their seasonals and it is called Mackinac Island Fudge Stout. If you read my earlier beer blog posts on this brewery, you know the history of it. If you have not, please, read those posts to get to know this brewery. Let us get into the beer.

It has a jet black color with a tan head that is strong when pouring but disappears after a while. The smell is a rich coco to the stout. The taste is burn but smooth to creamy chocolate. The aftertaste is a dry coco to it. To me, it is drinkable but to the general beer drinker, it is not drinkable.

Closing, this stout was really good and it is up on my top five list. I was pretty stun on how good it is in the bottle. I love how they used Fudge from Mackinac Island. I love the packaging and the name. They kept this a Michigan proud in the name and the type of packaging. I highly recommend you trying this beer. New Music Monday Blog Drowning Pool Resilence

In this Music Monday blog, we are going to get into the new release from a 2000’s hard rock and metal band, who is Drowning Pool. The record is called “Resilience.” We are going to get into the history of the band and then into the music. Let us get into the history of Drowning Pool.

History

Drowning Pool was founded in 1996 in Dallas, Texas founded by C.J. Pierce, who is the guitar player, and Mike Luce, who is drummer. They met Stevie Benton, who is the bass player, and then Dave Williams, who is the original lead singer. Their first record, which is “Sinner” was released in 2001 and band went into the mainstream when they played Ozzfest. Dave Williams was founded dead in his tour bus. He had some heart problem that he did not know about. In 2003, Drowning Pool replace Dave Williams with Jason Jones. They shift the music style from the dark to more of mainstream sound. They band release their second record called Desensitized in 2004. They band had success with a single called “Step Up” however, the record did not do that well. Jones band left the band in 2005. Ryan McCombs, who is the former ex singer of Soil at the time, replace Jones on vocals in 2005. In 2006, the band recorded a new song for The Saw movie. The band then signed a record contract with Nikki Sixx’s new record label, which is Eleven Seven Music. Drowning Pool released their third record called “Full Circle” in 2007. In 2009, the band released their first live record called “Loudest Common Denominator.” The band started working on their fourth record which would be self-titled. The record was released in 2010. This mark a first in the band’s history that the band had the same lead singer on two records in a roll. The band started working on their fifth record, however, Ryan McCombs left the band to reunite with his former band, who is Soil, in 2011. Drowning Pool replaced McCombs with Jasen Moreno in 2012. That same year, they released their first single, which was called “In Memory Of,” for their up coming record on the ten anniversary of their original lead singer’s death. It was a tribute song for Dave Williams. “Resilience” was released in 2013. This is the record that will be featured on this blog. Let us get into the music.

Anytime Anyplace

The opening track is in your face and driving music. There is some nice heavy guitar, drums and bass. I love the singing from the singer. It kind of reminds me of their first lead singer. The drumming is pretty solid. This is a pretty heavy song and reminds me of the music from their first record. Jasen singing is solid and lyrics are very good. This is a great opening song to “Resilence.”

Die For Nothing

I love the beginning for the music. There is some soild guitar, bass, and drumming playing here. I love Jasen’s singing on “Die For Nothing.” He wrote some solid lyrics. This is a pretty solid song and straight in your face. I love the guitar break towards the end of the song.

One Finger and a Fist

I love the start to the song. It is just Jasen singing. I love the pace of this record and song. I love the drumming, bass and guitar playing on this song. This song is clearly going around the singer which was the case on most of their songs on the first record. I love they have gone back to that for their roots. This is Drowning Pool music. Jasen has written some nice lyrics and his singing is pretty solid. There is a quick guitar solo towards the end of the song. This is song is in your face from the start to the finish of the song. I can understand why this was a single off this record.

Digging These Holes

I love the guitar riff at the beginning of the song. I love the drumming and bass playing. The singer is singing is spot on with some great lyrics. I love the guitar and bass playing towards the end of the song that lead into a pretty good guitar solo. This is a pretty solid song. It is in your face but in a nice way. The ending could have been better.

Saturday Night

This is another single off this record. I love the music at the beginning of the song. I love the singing from the lead and back up singers. I love the lyrics on “Saturday Night.” I love the guitar break between the singing. The drummer is playing his ass off on this song. What was that? That was a great guitar riff that should have been explored at the end of the song.

Low Crawl

I love the music at the beginning. The drumming is off the charts with some nice support from the bass player. I love the singing from Jasen with some great lyrics. I love the pace of the guitar playing. There was some great guitar work at the middle part of the song. I love the drop off on the heaviest of the song to a nice calming music just to be built back up to main riff. I love the ending to this song with some music in your face with the singer screaming.

Life Of Misery

I love the guitar playing at the beginning. I love the drumming and bass playing. I am not fan of Jasen’s singing at the beginning of the song. It does not fit but it starts to fit deeper in the song. There is some solid music and great lyrics. I love this song but I did not like the beginning on the singing side. I guess it is one of those songs that needs to grow on me. There is an awesome guitar solo with some awesome hard-hitting drumming at the end of the song. I love how the guitar player echos the singer. The bass player is right in your face. This is a great song. I am glad Drowning Pool is back.

Broken Again

This is classic Drowning Pool guitar riff at the beginning with the effects on it. The drumming and bass playing is solid. During the main riff it drops off but the singing puts it in your face in a nice way. Jasen wrote some nice lyrics on this song. I love the pace of this song. He has a pretty good range on this song. I am glad they let the bass go to front line at the end of the song. I love the well placed back up vocals on this song.

Understand

I love the sound sample that they use with a nice drum intro. The guitar playing is solid. The music drops off into versus. I just do not like all the effects on the singer vocals. They put it off pretty quickly to some nice singing over some heavy music. They wrote some awesome music on “Understand.” Jasen wrote some great lyrics on this song. I am glad they let the bassist run front before it was covered back up by the guitar player. I love the ending.

Bleed With You

I love the nice heavy gutiar riff to a nice acoustic guitar riff. The music is pretty solid on this song. There is some nice music and great lyrics. I love pace and theme of this song. This song, which is “Bleed With You”, should be their next single off this song. I love the meaning of this song. I love the singing towards the end of the song. This band knows they have a great singer and they are using him in all the right ways. This song is a great example.

Skip To The End

I love the guitar and drumming work with the bass echoing at the beginning. I hate all that reverb on the singer’s vocals. The music is OK. It is kind of let down for being the last song. Jasen wrote some great lyrics on this song. I am not a fan of this song. It is kind of disappointing song before the bonus tracks.

In Memory Of

This song is memory of their first lead singer, who was Dave Williams. It is first song they record with Jasen. I have to say they put some thought behind this song. The music is pretty solid. I love the lyrics. I love the guitar work on this song. The semi guitar solo throughout the song. Drowning Pool did a great job on this tribute to their first singer and long time friend and music brother.

Blindfold

I love the Black Sabbathish guitar riff with effect at the beginning. I love the drumming and bass playing on this song. The drumming is off the charts. I love the singing and lyrics. For being a bonus track, “Blindfold” shows the world that this band has some great unreleased songs. I love the ending of this song.

Closing, I am glad this band has went back to their roots. I love the last two records with Ryan McCombs of Soil. Jasen Moreno has taken to band back to their roots and to another level. I also love the record they did Jason Jones and I understand why he was let go from singing. This record from start to finish ids solid from the music, lyrics, and singing. They have a great singer and I hope he is around for a while. I am really looking to seeing this band live. I grew up listening to this band when they had Dave Williams. I love their performance on WWE or WWF Summerslam PPV. I was sad to hear of his death. I thought it was death of the band too. I loved their next record but it was not Drowning Pool. I came back to the band on Ryan’s second record and loved it. I was pretty upset when he left for his crappy band called SOiL. I love this record and I love Jasen’s singing which is better than Ryan. The music is Drowning Pool and they found ways to work with their new singer. This is a solid record and I believe this record is just the start for this great band to return to the mainstream. Go get some! Drink it! Enjoy it! Metal it! \m/
