In this blog, I will be break down why I believe Rockstar is not done with Res Dead Online. I want to say thank Rockstar for all contents between all their games. I want to say that I am happy for GTA players for getting an update in July. I am not a leaker or work for Rockstar. This is my ideas and thoughts. It took me about a week to calm down and re read a few things. Please, if you do not have anything nice to say, do not say anything to me. If you want to talk I will leave my information below. Let’s get into this.

Started With This Post on GTA Forums

I want to thank Tez and Videotech for all their work in Rockstar Community.  Credit to both of them. This photo they are talking about how Rockstar Editor for Red Dead is “cancelled or halted.”  This was a day after their big Newswire on both games.  This post made me re-read the Newswire.

Words

Words can mean many things and depends how they are used in sentences.  It also depends on the readers and authors reaction and uses them to communicate to each other.   Now let us break down how Rockstar communicate to us in their last newswire on the future of both games.

Rockstar Own Words

I will post a link of the Newswire at the end of this blog post. I want to say this again. This is my reaction to it. I will say at first like everyone. I was upset and believe my favorite game is gone. After looking back at everything, I have found HOPE. I know many of you will believe that I have false hope. Some of you known me for years. I have been right more than I am wrong predicting what Rockstar is doing. Here is my argument that we will get a new DLC early next year or some time.

Firstly, with both new and experienced players engaging in the wealth of activities already added to this massively rich world including Specialist Roles, story-based cooperative missions, competitive Showdown Modes, and much more, we will continue to showcase these unique additions through Red Dead Online’s monthly events as we move forward, so players of all levels can enjoy everything the vast frontier has to offer.

If Rockstar was leaving Red Dead, why put resources towards. They are still doing Monthly Events for all their players. I know it is only Monthly Events but it is still time to have staff to plan for these events etc. They are not same for last eight to nine months. Trust me I do not agree after four years there is wealth of activities. Also, story based missions are not done. I cannot recall a video game companies not finishing a story in their game. Correct me if I am wrong.

Alongside seasonal special events and experience improvements — plus other changes to enhance and maintain a healthy Red Dead Online environment — we plan to build upon existing modes and add new Telegram Missions this year, rather than delivering major themed content updates like in previous years, and we will continue to highlight and share the creative efforts of our Red Dead community at every opportunity via the Newswire and beyond.

The big thing that I want to point out is this is one whole sentence. All words are working together. They are going to add Telegram Missions this year. They will not delivery no Major themed content updates like previous years. Keep in mind, “this year, is still attached to that idea. I just feel why put out last of these missions. The words “This Year” is telling us they are coming back next year to do major theme updates. I believe Rockstar finally communicate to us. Here we shit on them. You say right here they did not say updates in the future. I will get to that shortly. Plus, they will still do the holiday modes like they did in the past.

This direct feedback from players has been instrumental to the ongoing success of both GTA Online and Red Dead Online — and an integral element of what helps us continue to evolve and improve as we push ahead towards the future.

I know know it says GTA Online in this sentence. But it says we have help them evolve and improve as we push ahead towards the future. So if Red Dead is done why put them in this sentence. This is their words. Last point and idea there is hope.

Over the past few years, we have been steadily moving more development resources towards the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series — understanding more than ever the need to exceed players’ expectations and for this next entry to be the best it can possibly be — and as a result, we are in the process of making some changes to how we support Red Dead Online.

This is almost start of the Red Dead selection of the Newswire. Note they have pulled resources from Red Dead to work on GTA 6. It had been a few years. Few to some of us can be two to four. So the first photo that they will go back to Red Dead after GTA 6 is done. This is telling me that GTA 6 is almost done.

Future of Red Dead

In the end, this is a very Hot Take. GTA 6 will be released next year. I also believe GTA 6 story will be smaller than GTA 5 story. I would not be shocked if story is all online and it is not finish when release. Rockstar might finish the story through DLCs. Red Dead will get an update next year. In meantime, there are some great games out there. If I was you, go play them. Let us hope it is not too late for this great game. Until next time, play hard and party on! \m/

In this blog, we are going to dig into the first expansion to a role on Red Dead Online. The Bounty Hunter is the first role to get new content, levels, etc. Let’s get started.

Getting Start

You will need to go to any bounty board throughout the world to buy the new license. It will run you 15 Gold Bars. I do not understand why you have to buy into this role again but we live in Rockstar’s world. It is what it is. This expansion will give you a few new things that will get into this post.

New Legendary Bounties

These are the same as the original Legendary Bounties. There is really nothing new but new bounties and Cutscenes. Here are the new ones listed below:

• “Shepherd” Virgil Edwards

Infamous Bounties

• Annesburg – Tobin Anderson’s Wreckers
• Armadillo – The Butchers of Benedict Pass

• Blackwater – Thaddeus Walter’s Men
• Emerald Station – The Three Widows
• Rodhes – The Bellingham brothers
• Riggs Station – Bartholomew Brown’s “Gentlemen”
• Saint Denis – Hoare, Roache and Gault
• Strawberry – the “Initiates”
• Tumbleweed – Addison Wye’s “Jailbreakers”
• Valentine – Allen, De La Mare and Fitch
• Van Horn – Bradshaw, Colt and Penn
• Wallace Station – Theodore Xavier’s Hunt

These are unique hard bounty hunter missions. They come with a story and this DLC gave us 39 new missions. They are locate throughout the map on the bounty boards. Once you complete one board, you will get a one time payout of $75.00. Plus, if you finish nine of different or the same one. You will unlock the badge that will give you a one time shot of 0.60 gold. These are fun missions with a nice chellenge. However, the missions might be different than the old hard ones, they are the same missions ovet and over.

New Equipment

There is not many new equipment with this DLC. There are three new Bolas but they are more expensive than the old ones. They work the same wat. Only reason, I would say buy them. You will have the ability to carry more than three Balos. You can carry up to twelve of them. Also, we get liveries for our bounty hunter wagon. They are very expensive so I would wait on them.

In the end, I really enjoyed this new DLC. I believe they did a great job with virus raging right now. I know many will argue with me about this statement. I understand where you are coming from with the Dailys. However, dailys are not on trail here, it is the content that this DLC brought us. The Dailys are a serpate issues. In this blog, we are going to get into my favorite role in this game. It is Moonshiner Role. I am pretty excited to break this down for you. Let’s stop wasting time and get started.

Getting Started

So just like all roles, you have to go to a location to meet someone to buy into the role. This is an extension off the Trader Role and Cripps will help you. When at your camp lock box or post office, Cripps will send a letter. When you read it, a location will spawn in on your map that you will need to visit. When you get to that location, you will meet Maggie Fike in a cutscene. She will offer you to buy one of five locations on the map. This role will cost you 15 gold bars.

Locations

There are several locations around the map. They are:

• Hennigan’s Stead
• Tall Trees
• The Heartlands
• Grizzlies West
• Bayou Nwa

My favorite location and I believe is the best one is in Saint Denis or swamp area of the map. I like it believe it is flat mostly and most other players leave you alone. I heard other like the Tall Trees one is also good. It depends where you want to be mainly on the map. There is not a bad location and they all have their plus and negatives.

Setups

There are a few missions that you will need to do before you start making shine. You will need to get the equipment and save your cook, who is Marcel. They are pretty easy and straightforward missions.

Story Missions

This is the only role right now that has story missions attached to the role. They can be a bit challenging but pretty fun with some nice cutscene. A little tip make sure you stock up on your amno when you start each mission.

Bootlegger Missions

These missions are like resupply missions from the trader. This is a good way to reduce your marsh cost. It can go from $50.00 down to $10.00. I would do one run to get down to $30.00 or $40.00. These missions you will either steal a wagon to a bar fight. I do enjoy the bar fights.

Moonshine Bar

These are not recommend. You can expand your bar with a band in it. There are three more themes that you can buy along with photos that you display behind the bar. These do not make you any money. There are Dailys for playing with band and dancing. There are a few more like service to players to changing the theme. Tip you do not need to change the theme. You can just change the photo and it comes for that daily. You will earn some gold from these dailys.

Sell Missions

Unless like Trader, you do not get the distant travel mission. You need to match a shine to what the customer is looking for at that time. You have three different moonshine options. It will go from weak to strong. You will make more money with strong and less with weak. Tip on saving your shine while delivering and it comes from @JoeD991. Aim your gun or guns while wagon is moving. The horses will automatically ride themself. If they get shot at, they might leave route. This will help you with corners.

In closing, this is by far my favorite role so far. You will make more money as a Moonshiner than a Trader in time ratio stand point. Both businesses will make you rich with cash. In this blog, we are driving into the last role from the original three roles. It is the Collector. Let’s get started.

Getting Started

You will need to find Madam Nazar in the world. She is hiding and she moves around each real life day. In my Dailies post, I tell you where she is located on the map day to day. Once you find her. You will unlock a cutscene. She will offer you to buy collector start up kit for 15 gold bars.

Collector Collections

Madam Nazar will ask you to collect anything from coins, flowers, tarot cards, fossils etc. You can sell them whenever but you get more money for complete sets.

• Coins
• Arrowheads
• Fossils
• Tarot Cards
• Lost Jewelry
• Family Heirlooms
• Antique Alcohol Bottles
• Bird Eggs

Collector Equipment

I recommend buying the Shovel and Metal Detector when you can. This will help you with Coins, Arrowheads, Fossils etc collections. You will make your money back between the Dailys to sell complete sets. The rest of the equipment does not help you make money. I would hold off for right now. When you are set with a nice cash flow then buy them if you want them.

Maps

I like buying the maps and run it the way game wants you to run it. I am not one to tell anyone how to play the game. I know I am not making as much money as many. There is a website, which is Red Dead Map. This map goes through different cycles and shows where all the collectables are located. There are many that uses this map. I do not but I use this map for Madam Nazat Location everyday. He did a lot of work on this site. If you want to support him, there is links to his PayPal etc.

Madam Nazar Location

I would use the map above or come by and check out my Dailys post to find out where she is hiding for that day. She moves to a different location each day. It is pretty rare when she stays in the same location. This is where you will find all collector equipment, maps, mask (when available), etc that you can buy.

Closing, I am not a huge fan of this role. I do collect the collectables when I run into them. I normally let them come to me. I know many of my friends have made a ton of money off this role. I have made my money back. I am not saying this is a bad role. It is not exciting role to do in the game. I would make this one of the last roles to get along with Naturalist. I would get Naturalist before this role because Naturalist helps you with your trader. I will be doing Moonshiner role next and then expansion on the Bounty Hunter after that. In this blog, we are going to get into another role, which is Bounty Hunter, that came out with Collector and Trader. I have already did a guide and review on the Trader. If you need help, please, go check it out. Let’s get into this post.

Getting Started

So just like Trader, you will need to go somewhere and meet someone with a cutscene. You will need to meet a young bounty hunter lady in Rhodes. A cutscene will happen once you are close to the shelf’s office. She will talk to you after she cashed in her bounties. She will tell sheriff that you are looking to buy into a Bounty Hunters licenses. He will offer you to buy it. Just like trader, it will run you 15 gold bars. There is no setup. You will see bounty boards all over the map.

Bounty Boards

There are boards all around the map. You can find them at most train stations and Saint Denis Police Station. There are four types of bounties that you can do. It will go to easy ($) to hard ($$$) and there is legendary bounties. Legendary Bounties will start from easy (One Star) to top it off at hard (Five Star). Each comes with a short story and a short cutscene.

Legendary Bounties

Bounty Wagon

This asset is pretty important if you are alone or with posse members and doing multiple bounties missions. It is pretty fast and turns pretty well for a wagon. You better not forget to buy the insurance for this wagon.

Bouny Hunter’s Equipment

I would buy the Reinforced Lasso right away. This will keep your bounties hogtied longer than the regular lasso. This is a must buy and highly recommend. Bolas, this can go either way. I would get them to help with your dailys and getting multiple bounties at one time. Bounties will not be tied down for long. I would keep that in mind when doing a mission. I would hogtied when you can. You do not have to switch to lasso just hit hogtied button. You will get your balo back. The tracking arrow is not a must buy. I only use them for a dailies.

Review

This is a pretty action pack role. It does get boring over time because you will be doing the same missions over and over. This is a good way to earn gold outside of Dailys, Treasure Maps, and stranger missions. This is also the only role that earns you gold. I always tell beginning players to get this role first over the collector and trader.

Closing, I am a little behind on my reviews and I am sorry about this situation. There was another update and it is add on to this role. I am going to do two different posts to avoid confusion in this role. I highly recommend this role. When this was released, I was more excited for Trader role. I have to be honest. In this blog, we are going to get into another role on Red Dead Online. It is the Trader role and this role is kind of linked with Naturalist. This was also the first of three roles to roll out to the game. Let’s get into it.

Getting Started

You will get a letter from Cripps. It will be in your lockbox or post office. It will make you go to the nearest town by your camp. There will be a cutscene and Cripps will offer you to buy into his business for 15 gold bars after it. If you accept, it will have you do a simple setup mission. Mine was taking a wagon back to Cripps.

Wagons

First off, once you can buy it. I highly recommend getting the Hunting Wagon as soon as you can. You need to make sure you do all the upgrades which I believe are none. You need to buy the insurance. This will save you a ton of money if you run into griefer or you are just a bad driver. Nothing wrong with being a bad driver. You unlock the Hunting wagon at Role Rank 11.

Delivery wagons are another set of wagons. You will get the small one automatically. As soon as you can get the large delivery wagon. Buy it right away, however, you are force to buy thr medium wagon. I do not understand why Rockstar put this in the game. Same thing like the Hunting Wagon make sure to check upgrades and buy your insurance for it. You can unlock medium wagon at role rank six and large wagon role rank fourteen.

Cooking Pot (Rank 3)

This is another tool that I would invested into it. It has a few special Cripps but I would not mess with these unless it is a Daily. Some are worth it but superior is perfect. It takes three Big Game meat and it hits all your cores. Superior will fillful your badge requirements.

Goods To Sell And Sell Missions

When you bring Cripps carcasses or skins from any animal to a legendary animals. He produces pelts for you to sell. I recommend going up to the full 100% which is 100 goods and sell distant if you have friends to help. Red Dead Online is not as toxic as Grand Theft Auto. You could sell this solo and not be attacked. I cannot promise anything. It is a pretty simple sell missions. It could be a shootout or people chasing you down while you are delivering.

Legendary Animals (Naturalist Role)

I want to make sure you know that Legendary Animals came out during Naturalist update. I wanted to talk about it here because this is a valuable asset to you and Cripps as a Trader. Some of these legendary animals can fill up to half of your supply bar.

Red Dead Map

I want to give credit to the author of this awesome map. It will show you what the value of trade in to Gus to Cripps of the Legendary Animals. Resupply vs. Buying Supplies

I would NOT buy any supplies unless it is free from an event week. Even then, I would still not buy supplies. The resupply missions are simple. You can go to broken down wagon to get a bag or stealing a wagon. There was one resupply mission that you hunt an animal. There was a point in this game’s history that was no animals in any lobby. They have now fix that problem with the Naturalist update. If you get bags, you will recieved full supplies and five materials to make into sell able goods. However, if you have players in your posse, you will get up to fifteen to twenty materials and full supplies. It depends on the mission of course. If you get a wagon mission. It does not matter if you are solo or a few posse members. You will get fifteen to twenty materials and full supplies.

Closing, this is the first passive business to enter the online game. This also gave us one other thing that I believe is important to us. It is the weapon lockbox. If you are starting, you do not need to get it right away. As you grow your weapon load out. You will find yourself not using half of the weapons in the game. This gives you the chances to leave some guns in your lockbox. This is a pretty fun role and I was pretty excited when it was released. This is a pretty good money maker. In this blog, we are going to get into the lastest role in Red Dead Online. It is Naturalist Role. Let’s get into it.

Setup

You will need to head to Strawberry and go into the Welcome Center. There will be a cutscene where you will meet Gus Macmillan (Trapper) and Harriet Davenport (Naturalist). You buy field book (we will get into this later in this post) from Harriet for 25 gold bars at the end of the cutscene. That is all you will need to get started. Let’s get into Harriet role.

Naturalist Role (Harriet)

This is where you will sale samples, start up Poaching, and Legendary Animal missions. This is also where you can buy supplies for this role. I recommend buy the max of sedate bullets for Verile Rife. If you have the money, max out revived potion. This will help you speed the process of maxing this role. Stop buying potion when max out the role. She is located all around the map with magnificent glass. If you hunt, she will posion you and will not talk to you for about 10 to 15 minutes. Do not hunt in front of her, she will yell at you and posion you when you talk to her.

Trapper (Gus)

Gus is all over the map just like Harriet. He is in Saint Denis and Rhodes area. His logo is a paw print on the map. You cannot see his logo in downtown area of Saint Denis. He is next door to Fence Shop. It is hard to see his logo on thr map. He does not give you missions but you can sell animal parts. You will then unlock clothes, trinkets, etc. We will get into this later in this post. You can buy bullets for the new gun and arrows for your bow(s). I will get into these weapons in later post.

Field Book

This book has every animal asides fish and most birds all over the map. It has several different collection of animals. It is kind of like collector’s collections. If you take a blood sample and complete a set, you will earn $80.00 to over $100.00 for the comment sets. Legendary sets will earn you a lot more. You will also need to study, track, take a photo, and skin it. You do not need to do all of that. All you need to do is collect samples to keep the set. I do know when you sell an animal sample to Harriet. She will stamp it in your book.

Trapper Clothing, Trinkets

Every legendary animal has a clothing option. There are some that will not show until you sell their skin. You do not need to use Legendary Animal parts for some of these items. You can use Free Roam animal parts. As long as it has it meete the requires. I recommend doing this after you max out your Naturalist Role.

I highly recommend getting the the trinkets. They will help from hunting, herb picking, etc. The hunting trinket will increse the value across the board from Cripps to butcher. For example, flight feathers were 0.09. After it will increase to 0.15 to Cripps. I will be adding locations where to find the animal in a link in the closing.

Legendary Animals

There is several legendary animals. It is a mission like Legendary Bounty mission. It will take you in the area and a solo lobby. It will be a mssion meeting animal in the wild or taking out hunters, who are called Poachers. You have the choice of skinning or taking a blood samples. Animals can be something from Legendary Beaver to Ram or Wolf. I recommend donating it to your Trader (Cripps) as soon as you max role and get what clothes from the legendary animals.

Locations Of Trapper And Naturalist

In closing, I will be putting out maps on each of the Legendary Animals location in Free Roam. Harriet does not give you every Legendary Animal in her mission tab. I have to be honest. I am not a huge fan of this role. If it was not for Trapper, I would mark this as one of worse DLCs for Red Dead. This role is towards the bottom along with the collector role. I have been doing Moonshiner, Trader, and Bounty Hunter more. This is my thought pattern and I know many will disagree with me. Here is the link that I wad talking about. In this blog, we are going to get into the locations of latest Moonshine Recipe.  Sorry, this is a little late.  I will have a map of all locations to find it in Free Roam. This is not a mission or part of story missions.  This is part of a Free Roam Event, which is a Random Event. The maps below show all locations in red marks on the map. Let’s get into it.

The Whole Map


Saint Denis And Swamp Area


West Elizabeth And New Hanover


All these locations can spawn in both day and night.  I have not did the research on when they spawn in and time frames. This is a random event. You will need to make sure that you have 20 or less players.  If you are seeing several animals in the lobby, it will appear in the lobby. You will see smoke coming from it like a hideout.  There will be like three to four NPCs.  You will need to take them out and search the camp site for the recipe.  This special moonshine recipe will be in one of the chests by the tent at the camp site. 

This recipe is one of three recipes that uses collector’s collectibles.  It is a special moonshine recipe.  As a weak moonshine, it will pay out about $100.00. As a strong moonshine, it will pay out about $250.00. This will also help you unlock the badge. The badge is trying ten different moonshine recipes.

In closing, I hope this helps you on getting your recipe. Sorry, this took a bit.  I wanted to make sure that I had the right information. I could not find any in the New Austin area.
