In this special beer blog, we are going to get into the next beer in the planet series. It is Saturn The Bringer Of Old Age from Bell’s Brewery. If you read my earlier beer blog posts on their beers, you know the history of this Michigan craft brewery. If you have not, please, read them to get to know Bell’s Brewery. Let us get into this beer.
It has an amber color without a head on this brew. The aroma has a bourbon notes. The taste has a heavy overall bourbon notes with a dry bourbon aftertaste. It is not drinkable beer.

TASTING NOTES: The fifth release in the Bell’s Planets Series is strong, robust and complex. Saturn is a bourbon barrel aged barleywine loaded with notes of toffee, caramel, oak and vanilla that finishes with a warming touch. The first beer brewed for this series, Saturn has been aging in casks since July 2014. True to its name, this beer is well suited for vintage aging.
