New Beer Blog Green Flash Brewery Passion Fruit Ale

In this special beer blog, we are going to get into another beer from Green Flash Brewery.  It is their Passion Fruit Ale.  If you have read my earlier beer blog posts on their beers, you know the history of this California base craft brewery.  If you have not, please, read them to get to know this west coast craft brewery.  Let us get into this fruit beer.

It has a cloudy yellow color without a head. The smell has a heavy passion fruit notes. The taste has a heavy passion fruit notes with a slight tart aftertaste. It is pretty drinkable beer.

In the end, I am not into the fruit beers as much.  Fruit beers have been around for many years.  These beers normally pop on the market during the summer months.  There is a nice balance and it is a pretty drinkable beer.  I am happy to see them picking passion fruit.  There is too many blueberry, orange, etc on the market.  There is not too many passion fruit beers on the market.  It is a great beer just not for me.  I recommend this beer.   Go get some!  Drink it!  Enjoy it!  Metal it!  \m/

New Beer Blog Green Flash 30th Street Pale Ale

In this beer blog, we are going to get into another beer from Green Flash Brewery.  It is their 30th Street Pale Ale.  If you read my earlier beer blog posts on their beers, you know the history of this California base craft brewery.  If you have not, please, read them to get to know this West Coast craft brewery.  Let us get into this pale ale.

It has a cloudy golden color with a white constant head. The smell has a floral and citrus notes. The taste has a citrus notes with dry bitter aftertaste. It is pretty drinkable beer.

Tabbing out, I am a pretty big fan of Green  Flash Brewery.  I am a huge fan but I will go out of my way to try anything new they put out.  I am craving their Stout and their normal IPA.  I love how they go out and find some rare or newer hops for their beers.  They put out some good beer with those hops.  They make sure it is good.  I have not had a bad beer from this craft brewery.  This beer is no different.  It is pretty good.  I highly recommend this beer.  Go get some!  Drink it!  Enjoy it!  Metal it!  \m/

New Beer Blog Green Flash Cedar Plank Pale Ale

In this beer blog, we are going to get into another brew and limited release from Green Flash Brewery.  It is their Cedar Plank Pale Ale.  If you had read my earlier beer blog posts on their beers, you know the history of Green Flash.  If you have not, please, read them to get to know this west coast craft brewery.  Let us get into this pale ale.

It has a clear copper color with a white constant head. The aroma has a citrus to piney notes. The taste has an earthly to piney and evergreen notes. The aftertaste has a dry piney finish. It is pretty drinkable beer.

In closing, the one thing that I love about this craft brewery is they are always looking for ways to push the limits of good craft beer.  They are always looking at ways to grow their beer knowledge.  There are craft breweries that put out their high-end beers and they are the same thing that someone else already did.  Green Flash is looking at everything different like Stone Brewery that is one of many examples.  I love trying these beers to push my taste buds.  This beer is something a little different from the normal pale ales on the market currently.  I love earthly to piney notes. This is a great beer. There is a nice some evergreen tree notes in the aroma and a little bit in the taste profile.  There is a nice balance and I enjoyed drinking this brew.  I just wished it was in a four or six-pack and not a bomber.  I highly recommend this beer.  Go get some!  Drink it!  Enjoy it!  Metal it!  \m/

New Beer Blog Green Flash Brewing Double Stout Black Ale

In this beer blog, we are going to get into another brew from Green Flash Brewing from California.  Thanks again to my friend Jay for sharing this brew with me.  If you read my beer blog post earlier, you know the history of this brewery from the southern part of California.  If you have not, please ,read that beer blog post to get to know this brewery.  Let us get into beer.

It has a jet black color with a creamy tan color head on this stout.  The aroma is chocolate, hint of coffee, and toffee notes.  The taste is a creamy chocolate with a chocolate and caramel aftertaste.  This double stout is a scary drinkable.

In the end,  this is a big beer and stout.  It is nicely balance and extremely drinkable.  It rich and full of flavor.  This brewery knows how to make some great beers asides India Pale Ales.  They are not like most breweries that know how to make one beer style great and rest of their beer styles are bad or good.  This brewery took some time and learn how to brew beer.  They put some thought behind this beer and rest of their line up.  I love this beer and I will be drinking it again down the road. I highly recommend this beer.  Go get some!  Drink it!  Enjoy it!  Metal it!  \m/

New Beer Blog Green Flash Brewing Palate Wrecker Hamilton’s Ale

In this beer blog, we are going to get into a brewery, who is Green Flash Brewing, that I had a few of their brews.  I have been wanting to get into their beers a little more.  Everyone I know that are hophead keep on telling me to try this beer, which is Palate Wrecker Hamilton’s Ale. Green Flash was founded in 2002 by Mike and Lisa Hinkley in Vista, California.  In 2011, they moved their brewery to San Diego, California.   They brew several different beer styles but they are best known for their hoppy beers.  Their beers come in kegs, four pack bottles, and twenty-two ounces bottles.  As you can see in the photo above, we are getting into a beer in big bottle line.

It has a clear copper color with a white constant head on the beer. The smell is piney to citrus in the beer. The taste is carbonated piney with an extremely dry hop finish. This is a beer that some beer drinkers will be drinking water with it. It is a sipping beer.

Ending, no kidding beer drinkers were demanding this beer to be release to the general public.  This is awesome Imperial India Pale Ale.  The only thing I do not like about it.  I believe it is just a little bit over hopped but that is just being picking.  Asides that, this is an awesome beer.  I love the hops they use in this brew.  This is a beer you need to sip.  I highly recommend this beer.  Go get some!  Drink it!  Enjoy it!  Metal it!  \m/
