New Beer Blog The Brew Kettle White Rajak India Pale Ale

In this beer blog, we are going to get into a brew from The Brew Kettle Brewery. This is the first time that this craft brewery is being featured on this beer blog. The beer is White Rajak India Pale Ale. This Ohio base craft brewery was founded in 1995 under the name of Ringneck Brewing. They later changed their name to Brew Kettle. They have distribution throughout Ohio and Kentucky. Let us get into this IPA.

It has a clear golden color with a white constant head. The smell has a heavy grapefruit notes. The taste has a heavy grapefruit notes with a dry bitter aftertaste. It is pretty drinkable beer.

In the end, I have been looking for a great Ohio beer outside of Great Lakes Brewery from Ohio base craft brewery. I was happy to find this great IPA from Ohio. I also love Hoppin Frog Brewery. I believe Brew Kettle might be my favorite Ohio Brewery. I will need to try some of their other beers asides this IPA. I only had this brew. This is by far the best everyday Ohio made IPA. I love it. I am really impressed. There is a nice well-built malty backbone and they picked the right mix of hops. This is a really good IPA and being a hophead. I cannot wait to get more of this brew on my next trip to Ohio next month. I will be looking for their Fall Seasonal when I am down there. I highly recommend this beer. Go get some! Drink it! New Beer Blog Starr Hill Grateful Pale Ale

In this beer bog, we are going to get into another brew from Starr Hill Brewery. It is their Grateful Pale Ale. If you read my earlier blog on their Amber Ale, you know the history of this brewery. If you have not read that post, please, read that post. Let us get into the beer.

It has a clear golden to dark yellow color with a white head. The smell has a citrus with a touch of mango and grapefruit. The taste of this light to medium body ale has a light carbonated citrus with a slight dry hop finish. It extremely drinkable beer.

In closing, I have heard great things about their beers and I had one of their beers when I was in Washington D.C. I was pretty impressed with their Amber Ale. I just felt this was a great brew, however, this beer is too much of a light body for my taste. I love the hop they use in the beer. I understand where they were going with it being their summer seasonal. I was not impressed but I know for a fact this beer will sell. I recommend you trying this beer. Go get some! Drink it! New Beer Blog Sierra Nevada Celebration Fresh Hop Ale

In this winter beer blog, we are going to get into another brew from Sierra Nevada. It is their winter seasonal called Celebration Fresh Hop Ale. If you read my earlier blog on their Beer Camper, you know the history of this brewery. If you have not, please, read the first part of that beer post. Let us get into the beer.

This beer from Sierra Nevada is called Celebration Fresh Hop Ale. It has a deep hazel copper color without a head on the beer. The smell is citrus to the beer. The taste is dry carbonation citrus with a dry aftertaste.

Closing out, this is one of my favorite beers in the winter season and Sierra Nevada Brewery. This is everything that I want out of a winter seasonal. I love the hoppy taste and a great malty backbone. Most winter seasonals are jacked up with nutmeg or cinnamon and this brew gives you a different side of the season l. I realize that craft breweries are going back to more the traditional beer styles and getting away from the over hop beers. New Blog Sierra Nevada Brewery Hoptimum Ale

Starting other new blogs, we are going to take a look at a brewery called Sierra Nevada Brewery. If you read my earlier blog then you are pretty much up to speed on this brewery, the beer is called Hoptimum Whole Cone Imperial India Pale Ale. This beer only comes out once a year. Everything depends on the hop harvest that goes on throughout the country and even the world on these speciality craft beers. Let us get into the beer.

This beer is a deep dark copper with a nice white big head. A big grapefruit smell to the beer. It is very nice smell and I do not like grapefruits. As far as the taste of the beer, it is sweet carbonation with a hint of grapefruit. The aftertaste is a very nice dry hoppy kick to it. This big India Pale Ale of ABV of 10.4% and over 100 IBU is very extremely drinkable.

In closing, I really love their beers and this beer is no question at the top of my list. It took this brewery a long time until they came out with an India Pale Ale in package form. When they did finally came out with it, then they made this awesome beer. This is a very drinkable Imperial India Pale Ale and I can see many people getting in trouble drinking this beer. I love this beer for the hop taste, nice malty backbone, and the smoothest of it. I highly recommend this beer and I would go and search it since it is a seasonal brew. Go get some! Drink it!
