New Beer Blog Guinness Rye Pale Ale

In this beer blog, we are going to get into a special release from Guinness.  It is their Rye Pale Ale.  Guinness started in 1759 in Ireland.  They are known for making stouts.  Let us get into this Rye Pale Ale.

It has a slightly cloudy dark golden color with a white constant head. The smell has a slight citrus to rye like notes. The taste has a very slight citrus to rye like notes with a dry slight bitter aftertaste. It is pretty drinkable beer.

Here  is a description from their website (www.guinness.com):

Created by the brewers at The Open Gate Brewery as a holiday gift for their colleagues, friends and families, Guinness Rye Pale Ale proved so popular they had to share it with everyone. The rustic, spicy character of rye grain is balanced with citrus and grapefruit from the mosaic and cascade hops, making it a fine addition to the Guinness family.

Ending, I have always been a fan of Guinness.  I have over the years step away from drinking it.  It is not because I do not like it anymore.  I love their stout.  There are so many choices of beer out there now.  Just like all Micro and Marco, I will try all the new beers that they put out on the market.  I like it but I am not going out of my way to get it. It does taste like a Guinness brand. If it is the only thing left in the bar, I will drink it.  I recommend this beer .  Go get some!  Drink it!  Enjoy it!  Metal it!  \m/

Cheers!

Ending, this beer does not have nitro but it does not matter.  This beer has some nice tasting notes.  It is has a ton of flavor.  I try this beer against Guinness.  I just wanted to compare the two together.  Both are great beers.  I was amaze the lack of flavor in the Guinness compare to this beer.  I love both beers. Next St Patty’s Day, if I see this beer, I will drink this beer.  If not, at least, I still have Guinness.  I recommend both these beers.  Go get some!  Drink it!  Enjoy it!  Metal it!  \m/

Cheers!
