In this beer blog, we are going to sample another beer from Tri-City Brewery out of Bay City, Michigan. It is their Dry Dock Irish Stout. If you read my earlier beer blog posts on their beers, you know the history of this Michigan base craft brewery. If you have not, please, read them to get to know this Midwest craft brewery. Let us get into this stout.
It has a jet black color with a constant tan color head. The aroma has a sweet chocolate notes. The taste has a heavy dry coffee with hints of chocolate. The aftertaste is a dry chocolate to coffee bean finish. It is a sipping to kind of drinkable beer.

Ending, this beer does not have nitro but it does not matter. This beer has some nice tasting notes. It is has a ton of flavor. I try this beer against Guinness. I just wanted to compare the two together. Both are great beers. I was amaze the lack of flavor in the Guinness compare to this beer. I love both beers. Next St Patty’s Day, if I see this beer, I will drink this beer. If not, at least, I still have Guinness. I recommend both these beers. Go get some! Drink it! Enjoy it! Metal it! \m/
