In this beer blog, we are going to get into another beer from Victory Brewery. It is Headwaters Ale. If you read my earlier beer blog posts on their beers, you know the history of this East Coast craft brewery. If you have not, please, read them to get to know this Pennsylvania base craft brewery. Let us get into this pale ale.
It has a gold color with a constant white head. The aroma has a fresh citrus notes. The taste of this light body ale has a light malt notes to a nice citrus notes. The aftertaste has a crisp dry hop finish. It is extremely drinkable beer.
Here is a description from their website (www.victorybeer.com):
Malted barley, hops and yeast are the building blocks of beer. But none of these elements would exist without water, the essence of life. The waters that feed our brewery begin just over a dozen miles away, making for spectacularly pure and vital water for brewing. Having worked with watershed advocacy groups since our inception, we value our headwaters, our source, in many ways. You’ll value them as well when you taste this firmly crisp and aromatically arousing pale ale.

Closing, I respect what Victory Brewery has done in their time in the craft beer world. They are not my favorite craft brewery from Pennsylvania. I do enjoy their beers. I will always pick up any new beers that they release in my market. Plus, revisit their IPA’s now and then. This is a great beer and it is well balance. It is pretty drinkable beer. I know it is design to be session-able. I love it. I highly recommend this beer. Go get some! Drink it! Enjoy it! Metal it! \m/
