In this beer blog, we are going to get into Weyerbacher Brewery 20th Anniversary Belgian Style Dark Ale. This is the first time that this brewery and beer is being featured on this blog. This craft brewery was founded in Easton, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1995 by Dan and Sue Weirback. They have been in the State of Michigan for about a year ago. Let us get into this beer.
It has a jet black color with a tan color head that disappears over time. The aroma has a sweet malty with licorice like and coriander notes. The taste has a nice licorice notes with sweet malty and a slight hint cherry like notes for the aftertaste. The coriander is not much in tasting and aftertaste. Unless, I am missing it. It is a sipping beer
